All Smiles?

Hello and Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there. I am still trying to catch up on my list of birthday cards, so today I have a one layer masculine birthday card that I made for my nephew.  I think he will get a kick out of this.

Masculine Birthday Card created with FMS241, CASology Week 202 Masculine, GSD Share Your Design and Time Out #59 Masculine with optional Twist of Mixed Media.

This puppy image makes me smile.  I stamped him onto white cardstock using Intense Black ink.  I stamped him again onto masking tape then cut him out to create a mask.  I masked him then masked the upper portion so I can create the brick wall beneath him. I used a brick stencil and blending tool to add Cherry Cobbler and Tip Top Taupe inks over top.

I colored him with Copics.  I wanted to give him texture so this was my first time attempting to do that with the Colorless Blender.  I need practice that’s for sure.

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark on black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  To finish, I mounted the panel onto a top folding Kraft card base.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
