Happy Groundhog Day everyone! It’s so nice to finally be back crafting after fighting the flu/cold since last week. And now that it’s February, I really need to get some birthday cards completed as I have 7 family birthdays alone! So today, I have a CAS birthday card to share.
The balloons were die cut from white cardstock and retired resist polka dot paper using NBUS Birthday Smiles die set. The strings and stars were also die cut from white cardstock. Blueprint Sketch distress ink and a blending tool were used to add colour to them.
The first part of the sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock. The Ombré wishes was done by inking just the bottom portion and stamping repeatedly using the MISTI. It was then die cut out with the NBUS matching die. Another was die cut from fun foam and stacked for dimension.
I lightly added some Blueprint Sketch distress ink for the background on a white A2 stitched rectangle panel. The panel was adhered to a top folding white card base before the card was assembled. Forgot to mention that Perfect Pearls was added to the balloons for some sheen
