Hi there. I’m back to share my second Christmas card for the CAS Christmas March challenge Holly. As I mentioned in my first post, I don’t have a dedicated holly stamp or die, but I do have products with holly in them. The stamp I used for my card today is one of my favourites. It is versatile and covers a lot of themes such as holly, poinsettias, wreath, critters, Santa hat, etc. And it’s fun to colour. 😉
To begin, the image was stamped in the centre with black Memento ink on an A2 size stitched panel die cut from Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copics. After I finished colouring, I accidentally smeared some ink on the panel. Since I didn’t want to start over, I fussy cut it out and adhered it to a stitched Kraft A2 panel from my stash.
The sentiment (discontinued) was black heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder. The Kraft panel was adhered to a white top folding card base and clear shimmer was added to the poinsettias and bow to finish.
The challenge deadline is March 24, so there’s still plenty of time to play along. For more inspirations from my team, click HERE. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Can’t wait to see what you create. Have a great day!
