Christmas Cocoa Wishes

Hello there.  I have another Christmas card to share today.  In honour of National Cocoa Day, I made a cocoa inspired Christmas card.  Unfortunately, I don’t have any cocia sentiments, but I will have to rectify that in the new year. 😂

Masked and stamped the images with black Memento ink on Neenah cardstock.  Masked the bottom of the panel and blended Tumbled Glass distress ink around the image, and then went back in and ink blended through a Sun Ray stencil.

Removed all masks and coloured with Copics.  Next, stamped the steam with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder.  I wanted a subtle effect, but it may be too subtle.  Added clear shimmer to the rays then black heat embossed the sentiment.

For some interest, the panel was die cut with a stitched scallop frame.  A second frame was die cut to stack for a bit of dimension.  Mounted all pieces onto a white top folding card base and added clear sparkly sequins to finish.

Thank you for stopping by.  Happy Holidays!

Fall Coffee Colour Wash

Hi there.  Quickly dropping in again to share a fall coffee themed card.

A rectangle window was die cut in the centre of an A2 size Early Espresso stitched rectangle.  The watercolour wash background was created on watercolor paper with Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge and Barn Door distress inks.

Once the wash background was dry, the beans were stamped with Early Espresso ink and the sentiment was gold heat embossed.

The espresso panel was mounted onto a white top folding card base with foam tape for dimension. To give it some strength, the Coffee Cup Silhouette (thank you Loll for this great die) was die cut twice from white cardstock and stacked.  Keeping it really CAS, so no embellishments. And that completes the card.  Thank you for visiting.
