Hi there. Another post tonight and it’s a quick one.
Using ink cubes, distress inks in rainbow colours were applied in strips on an acrylic block, then spritz with water, and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper.
The Lily was stamped twice with Versafine black ink on the panel as well as on a scrap of white shimmer paper. The solid Lily centre image was then inked with Spiced Marmalade distress ink and stamped on the shimmer paper Lily. It was fussy cut out and paper pieced on the watercolour panel before the whole piece was die cut with a rectangle stitched die.
The sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock. Clear shimmer was added to the Lily and a few sparkly clear sequins finushed off the card. And that does it. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your day.

Hello there. I received my order from Simon Says Stamps yesterday and knew I had to ink up one of their stamp sets right away. I also wanted to try something a little different for today’s simple friendship card.
I decided to give my Copics a break and pulled out my Prismacolor pencils. The flower bouquet was white heat embossed on a black Stitched Rectangle.
It was coloured with white and black pencils. First time colouring on colour cardstock other than Kraft and it’s kinda cool. I may have to try this more often. For some sparkle, clear shimmer was added to the petals and buds. It’s hard to tell, but it is really sparkly against the black IRL.
I didn’t have a nice yellow colour cardstock, so the friend sentiment was die cut from a scrap of X-Press It paper and coloured with Y06 Copic marker. Ok, so my Copics didn’t truly get a break after all, 😂 For dimension, friend was die cut from black cardstock three more times. The panel was adhered to a white top folding card base and some Clear Rain Drops finished off the card.
Thank you for your visit. Have a great day!

You will be happy to know my card today is NOT a punch art card – YAY! It is just a very simple floral card without the feminine colors.
I die cut a Stitched Rectangle from Night of Navy cardstock. To give this navy panel some depth, I stamped Wide Stripes with Night of Navy dye ink for a tone-on-tone look.
I then die cut a navy Stitched Oval Frame. I used a Stitched Oval die slightly smaller than the oval frame to cut an opening in the middle of the stripe panel. I also die cut the same oval from Kraft cardstock and inlaid it before stamping the sentiment from For You Flowers. I had to use the MISTI to stamp the sentiment a few times to get a good impression on Kraft cardstock.
The Peony Bouquet flowers were stamped on Whisper White cardstock with the Summer Afternoon ink cube set. There are actually 3 layering stamps plus an outline stamp for each of the images in the set (flowers and leaves), but I only used 2 layers with the outline. After I finished stamping, I die cut the flowers with the matching dies and added some clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer.
I die cut a branch from Chocolate Chip cardstock before assembling the card together and mounting it all on a top-folding Kraft cardbase.
