Chilly Icicles.

Hi everyone.  I guess I’m not ready to put my winter-themed products away yet because I am back today to share another CAS Winter card.

The icicle border was die cut from a scrap of white cardstock, covered with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder.  On an A2 Whisper White panel, I stamped the snowflakes and falling snow with VersaMark then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  On the upper half of the panel, I blended distress inks in a “peak” pattern to accentuate the hanging icicles. I used Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire distress inks.

The panel was spritz with a DIY shimmer mist to give it more of a chilly, icy feel. I did the Camouflage Die Cut technique for the sentiment using NBUS Let It Snow die. For dimension, I also die cut one from white fun foam and stacked them.

The icicle diecut border was mounted with foam tape and the panel was adhered to a white top folding card base.  The card is sparkly IRL so it didn’t need any bling or other embellishments.

I am entering in the following challenges:
Curtain Call – Icicle
AAA Cards – Game #82 Winter Chill
NBUS – #9 with optional Camouflage Die Cut or CASEing
Happy Little Stampers – January Anything Goes with Dies
STAMPlorations – January Anything Goes CAS with optional Gray or Silver
