Die Cut Flamingo Birthday

Hello there!  We are hit with the next heat wave and the last few days have not been fun, but it could be worse so no complaints here! 😉   And I managed to squeak out a summery birthday card today.

First, the flamingo was die cut three times from scraps of X-press It paper to be stacked for dimension.  One of them was coloured with Copic Sketch markers R20, RV21, RV23, RV25 and black 100.

A rectangle panel was die cut next from Whisper White cardstock, then Cool Caribbean dye ink (retired) was sponged through a Leafy Frame stencil.  Heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine black ink and clear embossing powder.

For some sparkle, spritz it with a DIY shimmer spray.  Mounted the panel with foam tape onto a white top folding card base and added three white sequins to finish.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!
