And here’s my card
I don’t make and celebrate St. Patrick’s day so I made a friendship card instead. The pot of gold, face and sentiment were stamped. All other elements are diecuts. To start, I stamped the pot of gold with Intense Black ink on X-press It paper, then fussy cut it out. Next, I masked the bottom half of a white A2 piece of cardstock and using a DIY diecut ray stencil, I blended Twisted Citron for the background. I die cut the rainbow, hat, beer, arms and clover leaf from X-press It paper as well and coloured with Copics, giving them a no-line colouring look.
Next I adhered the rainbow and pot of gold to the panel then die cut it with a stitched rectangle die. For some dimension and interest, I did the camouflage die cut technique using NBUS Stitched Scallop Rectangle Frames. I die cut two more frames to stack them.
I stamped the face onto the clover and the sentiment inside the frame. To finish, I added clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the clover and gold coins and glossy accents to the beer mug. Join in the fun and link up your Irish inspired creations for a chance to win a pack of X-Press It cardstock.
