Hello! It’s still July 1st here, so happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians! Last month was the Daily Marker coloring challenge and on day 21, I colored a couple of bears from the Beary Special Birthday set. And today I turned them into cards. I am sharing one of them now and the other one later in the week.
Since the bear was already colored with Copics and die cut out with the matching die, this was pretty straight forward once I figured out what challenges I wanted to participate in. First, I die cut a stitched rectangle from Whisper White cardstock. Black heat embossed the sentiment from the same set.
Next, I die cut a rectangle frame from Kraft paper using the two smallest rectangle dies. Took the larger of the two dies and die cut a white rectangle. Sponged Cool Caribbean ink (retired) on the bottom half, then arranged and stacked them all together. Adhered the panel to a white top folding card base, then mounted the framed image with mounting tape for a little dimension to finish.
Thank you for visiting. Have a great day!
