Happy Birthday Mom

Hi everyone.  I needed a birthday card for my mom whose birthday is in a couple of days, so I made a CAS floral birthday card.  And I finally got up the nerve to try no-line colouring.  It was not as daunting as I had thought.  I just mailed it off today, so hopefully she will receuve it on time.

On a A2 stitched rectangle X-press It paper, the floral image was stamped in the upper right corner with London Fog Memento ink, then coloured with Copics (RV0000, RV63, RV66, RV69, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67).  The sentiment and mom were black heat embossed with Versafine black ink and clear embossing powder.

For interest and dimension, a stitched rectangle was die cut in the center to create a frame.  The frame was popped up with foam adhesive on a white top folding card base and the die cut rectangle was inlaid back.

Clear shimmer on the flowers and rhinestones for the flower centers were added to finish.

Updated to add: I sent the card with a gift card and my mom called to say she loved it and that the card was enough without the gift card.  My mom is so selfless. 😂  Love her!

Thank you you for stopping by.  Have a great day!
