Less is More #341 Vehicles

Happy Saturday everyone.  It’s our one layer card (OLC) challenge this week at Less is More.  Challenge #341 is OLC Vehicles. It may sound limiting, but there are so many possibilities.  Our guest designer this week is the talented winner of our collaboration challenge with AAA Cards, Marge from margecrafts.  Our sponsor this month is Seven Hills Crafts.

A sleigh is a vehicle on runners and the first thought of course was Santa’s sleigh.  This was an easy one.  The Santa sleigh and sentiment were black heat embossed on a white A2 card base.  Next hill masks were hand cut from plain copy paper, then blue ink was blended through a Radiating Ray stencil with a mini blending tool.  Excess ink was wiped off with a tissue and clear glitter was added on the rays for some shimmer.  I was done, but then felt the scene was incomplete without snow, so snow was added with a white gel pen.

Heading over to the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More#254 Clean and Simple
Addicted to CAS – #117 One Layer

My next card was a fun and silly idea.  Initially, it was only going to be the sledding monster, but sleds fall in the same category as the sleigh, so the truck with the naughty monster who was about to peg off his buddy was added to the scene. 😂  All stamping was done with black Memento ink on a no bleed-through Copic friendly white card base. The truck was stamped first, then masked before the monsters and sentiment were stamped next.  Images were coloured with Copics and some Nuvo glitter drops were added to finish.  Another easy one. 😉
