Less is More #360 & #361

Hello there.  It’s the final challenge of the year at Less is More (LIM). This is a two-week sketch challenge, so there’s extra time to get your entries in.  Our sponsor this final month is Happy Little Stampers.

FLORAL BIRTHDAY

Here’s the sketch.

And here’s my card, created for my MIL.

On an A2 size piece of Neenah cardstock, the floral image was positioned off the corner in my MISTI and stamped with Memento black ink.  Flipped the panel and re-stamped in the opposite corner. The MISTI makes this super easy.  Masked the image and sponged gray and blue dye inks for background shading.  Removed mask and coloured with Copics.  White heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip.  Die cut the piece with a stitched rectangle and mounted it onto a white top folding card base. For some sparkle to finish, added clear glitter to the flowers and a few clear sparkly sequins.
