Hello everyone! We have a new challenge today at Less is More (LIM). We are asking you to use items from your Bits Box. There are different terms for it (UFOs, snippets, etc.), but basically, they are those pieces we didn’t use or made a bunch of and stored away for another day. Well, now is the day to dig them out! 😉 Our wonderful April winner, Skye from Blue Sky, is our guest. Our generous sponsor is Uniko.
The Encrusted Jewel butterfly (love the dimension and sparkle from this fun and addicting technique!) and triple stacked Wildflowers were from my bits box. I wanted to create a ‘trellis garden scene’ with them, so on a regular white diecut Stitched Rectangle, Twisted Citron distress ink was blended through a grid stencil (retired) with a Clarity brush. Mixed gold Gansai Tambi paint with water and splattered for more texture. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Mounted the panel with fun foam to a top folding card base for dimension then assembled to finish.
