New Home

Hello everyone.  I have a very quick card to share today. My brother just bought a home for him and his daughter.  It will be a new chapter in his life and I just wanted to wish him the best. Plus, I just received a couple of new dies yesterday that I couldn’t wait to use.

Using my new Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle die, I die cut from Island Indigo cardstock.  Next I took the house edgelit and die cut from leftover Certainly Celery stripe pattern paper. I used the tree edgelit and die cut from Wild Wasabi cardstock.

Before assembling these die cut landscape pieces on a piece of white cardstock, I blended some Tumbled Glass ink at the top for the sky. I adhered the hills to the white piece, then took the second largest Zig Zag die and die cut out out the scene. Next, I die cut a second house edgelit in white so I can cover up the stripe houses on the hill.

I took my second new die Home and die cut from black cardstock.  I also die cut the house portion from Island Indigo so it will stand out in the sentiment. I stamped the congrats sentiment in black on the stripe piece.  I added a black layer, assembled and adhered it to a white card base.
