Rainbow Blooms

Hi there!  Just poppin’ in quickly to share a simple birthday card.  I just got the matching die for my Watching the World Bloom stamp set today and wanted to put it to use right away.  It is a dream not to have to fussy cut the wreath out like I did last time. 😉

Started by stamping the wreath with Memento black ink onto a scrap of Neenah cardstock and coloured it in rainbow colours with Copics.  Die cut it out with my new die then heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a black strip.

Next embossed the background with a wood embossing folder from Whisper White cardstock.  Adhered the wood piece flat to a white top folding card base.  Mounted the wreath and sentiment with foam tape, then added clear shimmer to finish.

Thank you for dropping by.  Have a wonderful day!
