Snowman Family Christmas

Hi everyone.  Well, that extra hour sure flew by.  My Christmas card today is another quick CAS card.  I wasn’t planning to create this card today, but the color challenge (aqua, green and orange) over at Color Throwdown made me think how perfectly they would work for the Snowman Family stamp set.

This card is very similar to the one from my last post in that the image takes centre stage.  On a white Stitched Rectangle panel, I stamped the image with Memento black ink and coloured with Copics.

For the background, I sponged on some Pool Party ink, then added some clear Wink of Stella to the coloured green areas for some sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine black ink and embossed with clear glitter embossing powder.  To finish, I mounted the panel to a white card base and added a few of those white snowflake sequins I had just found.  Easy peasy, so I decided to make multiples for the Caring Hearts Card Drive

  2. What an adorable image, and the CAS design makes it really stand out. Wish I had known about this card drive sooner, as I would have been happy to contribute! Oh well, maybe next year.

  3. Oh, how cute! I LOVE how you chose to use just green on the snow family’s scarves and hats. Your cards are beautiful, Trina – and I’m blown away that you made 10 of this gorgeous design! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

  4. This is just adorable Trina. I love your interpretation of the “3” factor as snowmen…Super cute! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink.
