I have moved to a new blog… click image for it (this post will be there, too)
Hi there! This is my guest reminder post for Uniko Challenge #48. To refresh your memory, here’s the graphic inspiration for the challenge.
The colours, number two and optional twist for a child were the inspirations for this fun birthday card I made for my nephew! Can’t believe he is turning 3 at the end of the month! He and his grandfather (my dad 😉) have birthdays only 6 days apart.
Since the ladybugs are facing each other and I wanted these two critters to do the same, I mirror stamped the alligator on Neenah cardstock with Memento black ink. Coloured with Copics then fussy cut him out. Next, I stamped the hippo on A2 size X-press It paper with Memento black ink and coloured with Copics as well. Masked him, then stamped the explosion bubble in red followed with heat embossing the sentiment in black.
The panel was then die cut with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle, then mounted with fun foam onto a white card base. For more dimension, popped the alligator up with mounting tape to finish.
There is plenty of time to play along. And if you need more inspiration, check out what the other half of the design team at Uniko have made HERE. Thank you for your visit. Enjoy your day!
