Purple and Gold Confetti and Streamers

Hi there!  My friend Sandie’s birthday is today.  Happy birthday, Sandie!  Hope you enjoyed your special day!  I’m not sure if she has received her birthday card from me yet, but in my haste to mail it off, I forgot to take pictures of it.  However, I had extra gold streamers leftover, so I just re-made the card, except I changed up the sentiment.  This photo was my source of inspiration.

First step was to create the confetti.  Did this by placing a Falling Snow stencil on an A2 size mixed media stitched rectangle and inked with VersaMark.  Heat embossed with gold embossing powder, then used a mini blending tool to blend on Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord and Black Soot distress inks.  Wiped off excess ink from the embossed areas with a tissue.

Next die cut the streamers from gold foil paper.  The hooray was die cut twice — once from gold glitter paper and the other from a purple scrap piece.  Stacked and offset them for a shadow effect and then stamped the other part of the sentiment with Archival Violet ink.  Mounted the panel on a white top folding card base to finish.

Thank you so much for visiting.  Have a great day!
