Hello there! Dropping in quickly to share a fun silly masculine card good for multiple occasions.
On a stitched rectangle panel die cut from Neenah cardstock, stamped the elephant with Memento black ink. Masked it and stamped the bee. Masked the bee and the ground, then ink blended Mustard Seed distress ink through a Warp Speed stencil with a Clarity brush.
Removed the stencil and ink blended more Mustard Seed ink around the image with a mini blending tool. For more definition to the ground line, blended what ink remained on the black mini blending tool. Removed masks and coloured with Copics. Black heat embossed the sentiment, thenadhered the panel to a black/white card base to finish.
Happy Monday everyone! So back to birthday cards as May is a busy birthday month. In fact, I have two friends with the same birthday today! I’m only sharing one of the cards now and the other on Saturday. 😉 My friend loves her cat, so I thought it was the perfect time to break out a NBUS set and make this CAS birthday card.
Took a wonky stitched rectangle panel die cut from Neenah cardstock and stamped the image with Memento black ink. Masked the image, then die cut a reverse oval mask from masking paper. Adhered the oval mask into place and ink blended Shaded Lilac distress ink with a mini blending tool. Removed the masks and coloured the image with Copics. Having destashed a lot of my coloured cardstock, the sentiment was white heat embossed on a white strip and coloured with Wilted Violet distress ink.
Mounted the panel with foam adhesive on a white top folding card base. Popped up the sentiment strip also with foam adhesive since it didn’t need to be mailed. Added sone clear sequins and clear shimmer to finish.
I’m meeting up with my friend for a birthday lunch, so I’m hoping she doesn’t see this post beforehand. 😉 Thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous week!
Hi there! I am dropping in really quickly to share another mother’s day card. This one is for my friend… my goddaughter’s mom. 😊 Updated to add: Oops… I wasn’t paying attention, but with the word ‘mom’ in the sentiment, this will now go to my mom instead. 😉
First, a stitched rectangle was die cut from Neenah cardstock. Stamped the hummingbird and cherry blossoms with black Memento ink and coloured with Copics. Masking was used to create the floral cluster.
Black heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder. Mounted the panel onto a white top folding card base and added a few clear sequins and clear shimmer to the flowers to finish.
Hi there! Just poppin’ in for a quick reminder of this month’s Ornament challenge at CAS Christmas. The challenge closes on April 24, so there is still time to play along. Here’s my card.
This is the first year I’m making Christmas cards outside of the holiday season, so I thought I would incorporate a little spring rainbow into my card. 😉 The ornaments were stamped with Memento black ink on a stitched rectangle panel die cut from Neenah cardstock. Masking was used where they overlapped.
Coloured with Copics in rainbow colours. Drew in the strings with a black Copic Multiliner and a ruler. Black heat embossed the sentiment with clear glitter embossing powder. Mounted the panel with foam adhesive to a white top folding card base. Finished with clear shimmer on the ornaments for more sparkle.
Now It’s your turn to add your CAS ornament Christmas card to our gallery. If you need more inspirations, head over to the CAS Christmas blog HERE. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
