Hello everyone. It’s time for a new challenge at Less is More (LIM). The theme this week is Monsters. It’s a fun one and definitely not limitrd to Halloween. Once again, our wonderful sponsor this month is Uniko.
MONSTER CHRISTMAS
I only had one card for this week, but when I saw how similar it was to the card by my teamie Susan, I ended up making this Christmas card too. Stamped the monster and hat with Memento black ink on snippets of X-Press It paper, coloured with Copics then die cut out. The snowflakes (discontinued) and Monster Holiday Wishes greeting were white heat embossed on a snippet black stitched circle diecut. Although the sentiment was a mix of stamps from two different companies, I was pleased to see the fonts matched! The diagonal stripes is a snippet of washi tape.

MONSTER BIRTHDAY
And here’s the card that was similar to Susan’s and as my teamie Anita puts it – great minds think alike. 😂 Stamped the monster image with black Memento ink on a Wonky Stitched X-Press It rectangle. Used the coordinating die to die cut a mask. Quick since fussy cutting was not required. Plus it leaves a white border. Masked the monster then blended gray ink through a Radiating Rays stencil. Coloured with Copics and black heat embossed the sentiment. Added Crystal Glaze to the balloon and a few gumdrops to finish.
