Hi everyone. I can’t believe it’s December 1st already! The crazy busy season has started. So I’m just sneaking in a CAS Christmas card.
Stamped the bird image with Memento black ink on a scrap of X-Press It paper. Coloured it with Copics then die cut out with the matching die.
Die cut the branch (retired Memory Box – thanks Nancy 😉) from brown cardstock. Die cut Noel twice from white scraps. Ombré coloured Noel with Copics and added clear glitter.
Adhered all the pieces onto a white stitched rectangle from my stash. Placed a snow stencil over the whole panel and applied white embossing paste. Once the paste dried, mounted the panel with foam adhesives onto a white top folding card base to finish.
Hello again. I am quickly popping in with a second post today to share a non-traditional colour CAS Christmas card.
The penguin image was stamped with Memento black ink on X-Press It paper, coloured with Copics and die cut out with the coordinating die (my alignment was off, so I had to do some fussy cutting to try to even it out). The sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock.
The background was created by ink smooshing Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks on watercolor paper, then die cutting with a circle die.
A Zig Zag Stitched panel was die cut from watercolor paper and adhered to a white top folding card base. All the pieces were assembled and mounted to it. Clear shimmer and some sequins finished off the card.
And that’s it for today. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day or night wherever you are.
