Hey there. It’s been a pretty wet Spring here and today is no different. But where there’s showers, a rainbow is to follow, right? 😉 At least that is what my Spring Showers card is based upon. 😂 Love incorporating rainbow colours in my Spring theme cards.
A Wonky Stitched Rectangle was die cut from smooth Bristol paper. Alice was stamped with Archival black ink. She was masked, then the raindrops were stamped next. DIstress inks were used to colour the ground in rainbow colour.
Alice and the umbrella were watercoloured with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a watercolour brush. I think this may be the first time I used the black Zig marker.
The sentiment was black heat embossed. The panel was adhered to a top folding white card base. Clear shimner was added to the umbrella and raindrops to give them a glistening look. To finish, a few Clear Rain Drops were added.
Thank you for dropping by.

Hi everyone. I am here today to share another spring themed card as the guest designer for Inkspirational challenge #132 Spring.
My card was based on rainbows and the phrase April showers.
The sky background was created with a diecut cloud border stencil, a mini blending tool and Tumbled Glass distress ink on a white Stitched Rectangle.
The NBUS umbrellas were die cut from scraps of smooth Bristol paper. The solid umbrellas were coloured with various rainbow colour distress Oxide inks with a mini blending tool. They were then spritz with water, and after a few seconds, blotted with a paper towel. Once completely air dried, the umbrella outlines were adhered on top. For some sparkle, clear shimmer was added to each section. Had I thought of it beforehand, I would have added the shimmer to the whole solid umbrella before attaching the outline.
The NBUS sentiment was stamped with Archival black ink before the panel was mounted to a white top folding card base to be assembled.

Hi there. Today I am excited to be guest designing for Game #87 Shiny Spring at AAA Cards. It is a spring theme CAS card challenge with the optional twist of adding a shiny element.
Although I don’t send Easter cards, Easter did inspire this hoppy bunny birthday card.
Stamped the bunny, flower, bee and bee trail with Intense Black ink on a X-press It paper Stitched Rectangle and coloured with Copics. Masked the bunny, flower and the upper half of the panel then blended a patch of grass beneath the bunny with Mowed Lawn distress ink.
Leaving the masks on the bunny and flower, removed the upper half mask and crested the cloud background with a DIY diecut cloud stencil, a mini blending tool and Tumbled Glass distress ink. Removed the remaining masks.
For some shiny elements, added clear Wink of Stella to the flower and bee’s wings (was a little difficult to capture in a photo). Heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine black ink and clear glitter embossing powder. Used gray Copics to add the shadow under the bunny. Mounted the stitched panel to a white top folding card base and added three Crystal Clear sequins to finish.

Hi everyone. I have another CAS spring card to share today. We’ve had a lot of rain lately, which makes me a little nervous for April with the phrase April showers and all. 😂 Rainbows in the spring inspired this card.
First, a circle reverse mask was die cut from masking paper and adhered off the edge of a white A2 stitched rectangle panel. Distress inks were blended through a Diagonal Grid stencil with Clarity brushes. The moose was stamped with Intense Black ink, coloured with Copics and then die cut it out with the matching die.
Next the wreath frame was die cut from white cardstock. The sentiment was heat embossed with black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder.
A black strip was added to anchor the moose. The stitched panel was adhered to a landscape white top folding cardbase. The moose was mounted with foam adhesive and clear Wink of Stella was added to the flower to finish,

Hi there. It was a miserable wet day today, so I thought it would be the perfect time to make a CAS Spring themed coffee card for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. 😂 Last year’s bloghop was kind of the springboard that helped me consider starting my blog. And in a week, it will be my one year blog anniversary. But before then, here’s my card.
In the upper half of a white Stitched Rectangle, Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink was blended over a DIY cloud stencil with a Clarity brush for a nice soft look.
The branch, monkey and cup were stamped with Intense Black ink and coloured with Copics. The branch and monkey were die cut out with the matching dies. Fussy cut the cup and the monkey’s tail to have it look like it’s holding the cup.
Heat embossed the sentiment in black. Die cut the coffee letters twice to stack them. I really need to get a coffee word die. 😂 Used a Clarity brush to add Worn LIpstick Distress Oxide ink to the bottom of the letters. Adhered the stitched panel to a top folding card base and added Clear Wink of Stella to the cup and the coffee diecuts to finish.
