Pencil Coloured Floral Birthday

Hi there!  I have more birthdays coming up, so I am poppin’ in with a floral birthday card today.  Lately, I’ve been admiring all the beautiful pencil coloured creations, so I took the leap and coloured a larger, more detailed image.  It’s definitely labour intensive compared to colouring with Copics, but definitely satisfying once completed.  Here’s my card.

To begin, stamped the image with VersaMark on Toned Tan paper using my MISTI.  Coloured the image in using a mix of Polychromos (flowers) and Chameleon (foliage) pencils plus a Luminance White pencil.

Once colouring was done and with the stamp still positioned in the MISTI, re-stamped the image with VersaMark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  After all that time it took to colour, I did not want to cover any part of it up, so white heat embossed the sentiment above.

Die cut it with an A2 stitched rectangle, then mounted the panel to a white top folding card base.  Keeping it CAS, added white dot details with a white gel pen and clear shimmer to finish.

Thank you for dropping by.  Enjoy your day!
